Adobo flakes (rice toppings)
Chicken Adobo flakes( rice toppings)
This is a very easy dish to make.
For this recipe, I used chicken thighs. Since it's only me and my mom eating, I just used 2 chicken thighs. Chicken thighs are great to use because they are not dry like the chicken breasts. They have a great combination of fats and meat.
Ingredients:
Chicken thighs -boiled and shredded
Vinegar- 2-3 tsp.
Soysauce- 3-4 tsp
Oyster sauce - 3 tsp
pepper
onion
garlic
cooking oil
simple as that. 😁
Once you get your chicken shredded, It's time to make the adobo sauce. First, we have to sautee our onion and garlic. once they are soft and you can smell the aroma, time to put on our vinegar and soysauce. Don't put the oyster sauce yet.Let's give our sauce a good mix! ❤️ Simmer for a minute. Time to put in our chicken! make sure to mix the chicken thoroughly with the sauce. Let's simmer it for 5 minutes until the sauce combines with the chicken.
I like to dry it up a little bit. Just give it a little fry. After 5 minutes, you can put in a little of the chicken broth(just a little!) and put in your oystersauce. mix it again and let it simmer for another few minutes. let it absorb all the sauce mixture that we did. Let it fry for just a few minutes. I like to dry up the sauce a little bit and fry the chicken.
Once you achieved your desired taste and texture of your adobo flakes, time to plate it up on a hot plate of rice! Enjoy!
PS. I like to use the left over chicken broth a soup side dish. I jazzed it up a bit. put in pepper, salt or magic sarap. or fish sauce will do. you can also put onion chives and Tada! You now have a soup side dish to your adobo flakes!
-this is my original recipe- 💯 I hope you'll love it as much as I do!
